FortiGate Address Object Builder

Turn IP addresses and CIDR networks into address objects and a static group. Review the commands before applying them in the intended VDOM.

Local processing · Your entered addresses are not submitted to a server

Inputs

Names: letters, digits, dots, underscores and hyphens; maximum 63 characters.

One entry per line or comma-separated. Optional custom name after an address. Blank lines and # comments are ignored. Up to 5,000 entries; duplicate networks are removed.

Automatic names use the normalized network, for example H_198.51.100.0_24. Custom names override the prefix.

Objects with matching names are updated in either mode. Duplicate networks keep the first supplied name.

No quotes, backslashes or control characters.

Leave blank to run in your current VDOM. Set only when VDOM configuration is enabled and your administrator has access.

Reviewable CLI output

Generate address objects first, then their address group. IPv6, FQDNs and IP ranges are not supported in this version.

Review names against the existing configuration and confirm your FortiOS version. This tool does not connect to your firewall. FortiOS configuration changes may take effect immediately; no commit command is generated.
